Position Overview:
A leading law firm, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Defect Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their growing practice. This is a fully remote position based in California, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the state.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of construction defect cases, including claims related to property damage, construction defects, breach of contract, and professional negligence.
- Provide legal counsel to clients, including homeowners, contractors, and developers, on construction-related issues.
- Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery documents, and settlement agreements.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediations, depositions, and court hearings.
- Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction law and regulations in California.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Manage client relationships and ensure exceptional service and communication throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active California State Bar membership.
- 3+ years of experience handling construction defect and construction law-related matters.
- Strong experience in drafting and litigating construction defect claims
